Located in Boston’s South End, two miles from the downtown city core, the Best Western Roundhouse Suites was originally built in 1828 as a gas tank to hold the gas used to fuel Boston’s lanterns. The building later became a motion-picture hall and was also used for light manufacturing and storage. Vacant for 60 years, the building was transformed into a hotel in 2001. Now, guests enjoy the experience of sleeping in a historic Boston structure.
The hotel provides a discounted airport shuttle service for $5 per person each way. Children under the age of 12 are free. (Discount applies to a maximum two adults per room. Additional adults pay the regular charge of $12.50 each way.) A local shuttle service also operates to nearby subway stations, medical centers, and convention centers. Hotel parking is free.
The business center offers high-speed Internet access and is complimentary for all guests. The hotel has a small fitness center on site, and serves a complimentary Continental breakfast every day.

The Best Western Roundhouse Suites' 92 guestrooms are well-lit, with large windows. Rooms are decorated in contrasting bright colors and subdued earth tones. All suites have sofa beds as well as refrigerators, microwaves, and wet bars (sinks). Executive suites have bedrooms that are separated from living areas with French doors. All rooms also offer complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access and Nintendo 64 video-game consoles (fee applies). |

Rental cars, taxis, and airport shuttles are alternate methods of getting to and from the hotel.
