Guestrooms include custom-designed cherry wood desks, oversized clocks, and feather beds draped in hand-crafted quilts and premium bedding. A custom-designed professor's chair and hanging pegboard are reminiscent of a New England boarding school.
Modern touches include high-speed Internet access (surcharge) and Seura television mirrors. These recessed plasma TVs fade into the wall, and appear to be mirrors when not in use. The units can fully integrate with cable, satellite, antenna, external sound systems and DVD players. Phones offer complimentary local, domestic long-distance, and toll-free calls.
Each floor offers a computer kiosk with a printer, fax, copier, and high-speed Internet access (complimentary for the first 30 minutes).

Driving directions from Logan International Airport: Take the Ted Williams Tunnel (pay toll) to I-90 (Mass Pike) west. Take Exit 20 (pay toll) and follow signs toward Cambridge. Turn left onto Soldiers Field Rd, then take the Harvard Sq exit. Bear right and cross the river. Turn left onto Eliot, which becomes Bennett. The hotel is on the left.
Getting there: The best way to get to The Charles Hotel from the airport is by taxi ($26–$35). There are independent airport shuttles that run periodically, but they are not always available. (Fees subject to change without notice.)
Getting around: A good way to explore Boston and Cambridge is to take advantage of the T, Boston's rapid transit system (less than $5). Board the Red Line at nearby Harvard Station. (Fees subject to change without notice.)
